A good hotel which is close enough to Amsterdam to be considered when Amsterdam is full. However, Naarden itself comes highly recommended and merits a visit in itself in which case this hotel has the perfect location. 06/2004/jg

Located in the area known as the 'garden of Amsterdam', the hotel is situated close to the A1 which goes to Amsterdam. Naarden itself is one of the best preserved fortress towns in Europe.

There is a very large restaurant with a separate breakfast room. The restaurant is brasserie style and is open every day for lunch and dinner, and in good weather, there is a lovely terrace where one can eat.

The lobby is medium sized, and a little dated but pleasant enough and with direct access to the bar, which is connected also to the brasserie.
