General Description
The 3* Helvetia is located in a XVIII century building right in the city centre, in Piazza della Nunziata, just in front of the church which gives its name to the square and which has been recently refurbished and is now back to its original splendour. The hotel is only 5 minutes` walk from Porta Principe railway station and from the harbour with it`s cruise and ferry terminal. Genoa`s Aquarium is 200 m away and guests can reach the pedestrian streets to go shopping or visit museums in just a few minutes. The 32 rooms were refurbished in the beginning of 2004 and are now sound proofed and equipped with air conditioning, telephone, mini bar, satellite TV, modem connection and hair dryer. The hotel has a bright and comfortable lounge area and a spacious breakfast room where a rich buffet breakfast is served in the morning. A bar is also available to guests and, if they have a car, they can park in a private garage nearby the hotel at an agreed rate. |
