The hotel is owned and managed by the Treacy family and has been refurbished to combine luxury with the elegance of a bygone age and to maintain the tradition of efficient service in a warm hospitable atmosphere. Renovated in May 2002. There is family entertainment throughout the high season in the Riveroom or have a quite relaxing drink in either the Main Bar or the resident's Bar. A lovely hotel offering excellent value for money. A perfect location for all visiting Waterford area. Only ten minutes drive to Waterford Crystal and City. The hotel is situated in the centre of Tramore, a suburb of Waterford that overlooks the golden strands of Tramore which are probably the most enchanting and the most popular of the Atlantic coast resort. Only a short drive from the city, Airport and the famous Waterford Crystal Glass factory.

This is a traditional building with the hotel restaurant situated at the front. The hotel opened its doors in 1891 and for more than a century and a half its name has been linked with the grace and style of the era. It is a famous landmark in the centre of Tramore Town.

The Doneraile restaurant with its panoramic view of the sea has become famous in Waterford for its excellent food and extensive menus. There is a wide variety of choice on offer including local specialties of seafood and steak's. The award wining chef cook's to order to suit all dietary requirements. There is also an extensive bar lunch menu which is served in either of the bars, Duffy's Bar with Live entertainment or The Doneraile Bar.

The lobby is medium in size and brightly decorated with a small seating area and reception desk. A bright conservatory to the front and side of the hotel where it is ideal for reading and relaxing.
