The hotel is situated a half hour's drive from Freiburg in the heart of the black forest directly at the mouth of the wild Ravenna Glen. The main road up to Titisee runs past the hotel and motorways are within easy reach.

Property Information

The hotel consists of two buildings of traditional black forest style with wooden balconies overflowing with flowers. Many famous people have stayed here including Marie Antoinette, Goethe and Trollop. A third traditionally styled building houses a cuckoo clock 'factory' and a restaurant often used for lunch stops.

The restaurant which is located in the main building has a tiled floor. The walls, ceiling, and furniture are all of pine.
