The hotel is set in a picturesque cobbled street right in the heart of Bath and is very close to all of the major attractions. There is very little traffic but lots of activity in the shops and galleries in the street. The hotel is only 50 metres from Bath's premier shopping street and there are over 100 restaurants and bars within 500 metres, 300 yards from the Bath Thermae Spa.

The hotel was built in approx 1748, vintage and located in the cobbled street which is one of the few remaining and said to be one of the oldest streets in Bath.

The Bistro style restaurant remains open all throughout the day until 9 pm, and offers a light Bistro menu and wine menu. The residents bar is open all day, until 12 pm. The hotel gives a Gourmet buffet and cooked breakfast menu in the restaurant which is served until 10 am. The coffee lounge is open all day also offering homemade pastries.
