General Description

This is one of the newest resorts on the island and has captured the combination of chic style while retaining the high level of service that Mauritian properties are known for. The 2000 square metre spa is one of the centrepieces of the resort, featuring nine massage cabins and various spa programmes. In addition, the resort is collaborating with its neighboring property in a joint venture to run a restaurant at a nearby former sugar plantation. Guests will have the opportunity to dine at the plantation, overlooking beautiful gardens and the sea. Please note that the first nine holes of the golf course will be operational as of the 1st of December 2004 with the remaining holes to be open in the spring of 2005. (TO0704)

Located in the newly developed region of Bel Ombre, on the southern coast of the island, the resort is 30 kilometres from the airport and 45 kilometres from the capital city of Port Louis

Property Information

The resort is comprised of several earth-colored buildings, each with a maximum of three floors. Each building faces the sea and is located adjacent to the main pool and restaurant areas. The spa area (located behind the room buildings) is the largest on the island and was created to resemble an African village. As well, this property offers guests the choice of two pools and a championship golf course overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Dining Facilities

The resort offers guests a choice of four dining options, all centered around the main pool or beach. The main restaurant serves international cuisine buffet-style for breakfast and dinner. A second restaurant offers guests a fine-dining option for dinner with a fusion menu. The pool bar offers light snacks during lunch and the beach restaurant allows guests to sample the local cuisine in a casual setting for lunch or dinner.
