Langkawi is the largest of 104islands situated between the andaman sea and the straits of malacca. The Pelangi Beach resort is 7kms from the airport within 25acres of gardens and pools with large beach on the west coast.

The resort is based upon the design of traditional malay village homes, using a mix of dark hardwood and terra-cotta tiles.

The lobby is large with the reception to one side and large lougne area in the centre where drinks are served and a band plays at night. The lobby opens out onto restaurants gardens and the pool towards the back.
